Boo! 3 Scary Tales to Avoid at All Cost When Coworking

Hello to all our coworking ghosts and ghouls. We hope you’re enjoying your fall thus far. As we’re exactly 1 week away from Halloween (and certainly in the spirit!), we figured this blog could serve as a warning; avoid these scary things or your work day could be ruined!

  1. Forgetting Your Phone/Computer Charger

One of the worst feelings in the world is the fear of running out of battery on your devices. Sure, your coworking space may have extra chargers to provide, but we wouldn’t count on it. Try to keep an extra packed away in your car or a hidden pocket in your bag.

  1. Coworking While Sick

One thing you should absolutely avoid doing is coming into a coworking space while sick. These shared workspaces, much like an office, can be a breeding ground for germs if folks come in feeling under-the-weather. And, let’s face it, nobody wants to network with someone with the sniffles.

  1. Bringing in Pungent Food

Next time you pack your lunch or snacks, consider those around you who are also paying to be there. There’s nothing more distracting than a potent smell permeating the coworking space. Don’t get labeled as the “smelly” guy – think before you pack.

Happy Halloween!
